Your roof. The full picture.
A roof decision deserves two kinds of evidence: the view from above and a qualified roof professional's eyes on the shingles. HeyRoof is being built to put both into one report written for the person who lives under it.
- Imagery used to screen and measure
- A roof professional confirms before anything is scoped
- Photos for every finding, an all-clear when that is the answer
Illustration of a roof dossier: a drawn neighborhood seen from above with one home outlined, and three cards for imagery, measurements and professional review. Sample property, not a real inspection.
Five steps. One report that keeps growing.
Each step adds evidence to the same report. You can open it at any point and see exactly what is known, what is still an open question, and who has looked at it.
Request
You tell us what prompted the question: a storm, a stain, a neighbor's new roof, or simply age.
You, then a HeyRoof coordinatorRemote review
We study imagery of your roof to map its shape, estimate size and pitch, and decide how soon a visit matters.
HeyRoof remote reviewerSite visit
A qualified roof professional gets on the roof, photographs what is there, and answers the questions the imagery left open.
Partner roof professionalScope
Plain-language options tied to the photos. Nothing is priced or proposed until a professional has been on the roof.

Work is checked against the approved scope, photographed, and signed off before the report is marked complete.
HeyRoof principalImagery is a great place to start. It is not a diagnosis.
We use imagery to screen, measure and prioritize. We do not use it to tell you a shingle is damaged. That part needs a person on the roof, and we say so in every report.
What imagery helps with
- Mapping the roof's shape: facets, ridges, valleys, dormers and penetrations.
- Estimating area and pitch, so a visit arrives prepared and a scope has honest quantities.
- Noticing the obvious: tarps, missing sections, heavy debris, tree contact, a darker patch worth a closer look.
- Deciding who to visit first after a storm, so the roofs most likely to need attention are seen sooner.
What it cannot do
- Diagnose individual shingles. Hail bruising, granule loss and lifted tabs are not reliably visible in ordinary satellite imagery.
- Confirm a leak, check flashing or sealant, or look in the attic.
- Write a scope or a quote. Those come only after a professional review on the roof.
- Replace your judgment. Every report shows the evidence so you can see why we say what we say.
Built to be read at the kitchen table.
Most roof conversations end with a number on a clipboard. Ours end with a document you can hand to a partner, a neighbor or your insurer and have it make sense.
Plain findings
Each finding is one sentence a non-roofer can follow, with the facet it refers to and the photo that shows it.
Open questions, kept open
If the imagery raised something the visit could not settle, it stays listed as unresolved. We do not round a question up to a finding.
Verified closeout
Work is checked against the approved scope by the HeyRoof principal before a report is marked complete, with photos of the finished areas.
Schematic map of the planned pilot area north of Dallas and Fort Worth, with Plano, Allen, Frisco and McKinney marked. Not an active coverage map.
Planned pilot area: north of Dallas and Fort Worth.
The plan is to begin with four neighboring cities, so that one partner crew could reach any home in the area quickly and every report would be checked by the same principal.

Planned, not active coverage. No visits have been scheduled from this demonstration site.
One responsible name. Partner professionals do the work.
HeyRoof is planned as a principal brand: the report, the standard and the sign-off carry the HeyRoof name. The work on the roof would be done by qualified partner roof professionals and checked against the scope before it is called done. The partner network is still being built.
The HeyRoof principal
Reviews every scope before the homeowner sees it and signs off every closeout. The name on the report is the name accountable for it.
Partner roof professionals
Qualified roof professionals who agree to the evidence standard: photos for every finding, no scope without a visit, no pressure on the doorstep.
Verified closeout
Completed work is checked against the approved scope. The property is swept, the photos are attached, and the report is marked complete only then.
